Performance Improvement (RPI)
RPI
Method Description
RPI is performed as an iterative
series of four phases, which comprise all the activities necessary
to scope the improvement efforts, map current practices, identify
gaps for improvement, prioritise and select improvements, model
the revised process, and plan and deploy the process changes.
The entire cycle of phases are conducted in a short period of
time (preferrably less than three months).

now includes reference processes for SW-CMM(sm), CMMI(sm), and
TPI(R). It also includes an SEI ARC Class C compliant appraisal
method and is compliant with CMMI OPF and OPD.
